Stratum URL Explained
The stratum URL tells your miner where to connect. For PearlPool.cloud, the public endpoint is stratum+tcp://pearlpool.cloud:5566. Some miners ask for host and port separately. In that case use host pearlpool.cloud and port 5566.
Wallet and Worker Format
The pool does not require registration. Your wallet is your account. A worker name is added after a dot so you can identify different rigs.
YOUR_PRL_WALLET.YOUR_WORKER_NAMEFor example, a miner with one RTX 4090 rig could use:
prl1yourwalletaddress.4090Pool Difficulty and Shares
A mining pool sets a share difficulty so miners do not submit every single hash attempt. Your GPU performs many hash attempts locally and only submits results that meet the pool target. Accepted shares are used for accounting in the PPLNS window.
A share is not the same as a confirmed block. A confirmed block requires a much stronger result that meets the network target and is accepted by the network.
Candidate Submissions vs Confirmed Blocks
PearlPool.cloud may show gateway-submitted candidates. These are not confirmed pool blocks. They represent submitted block candidates or proofs that were passed to the gateway. Confirmed pool blocks are shown separately on the Blocks page and API.
Candidate Submissions = submitted gateway proofs/candidates, not confirmed pool blocks.Rejected Shares
A small number of rejected shares can be normal, especially after job changes, reconnects or miner restarts. High rejected share rates should be investigated. Possible causes include unstable overclocks, network latency, outdated miner versions, duplicated submits or stale work.
For public mining, a stable pool should aim for a high accept rate. PearlPool.cloud exposes accepted and rejected shares so miners can monitor this transparently.
Monitoring Your Miner
After connecting, check your stats on the Stats page and leaderboard. You should see your wallet, worker name, hashrate, accepted shares, rejected shares and last seen time.
