Pearl / PRL PPLNS Payouts Explained
Published: June 2026 · Category: Payouts
What Is PPLNS?
PPLNS means Pay Per Last N Shares. Instead of paying every submitted share immediately, the pool looks at a recent window of valid shares when a block is found. Miners who contributed valid shares inside that window receive a proportional part of the block reward.
This payout model is common for mining pools because it rewards miners who stay connected and contribute real work over time.
How PearlPool.cloud Uses PPLNS
PearlPool.cloud tracks accepted shares per wallet and worker. When the pool finds a confirmed and mature block, the payout calculation uses the valid share history in the PPLNS window. The pool fee is then applied and balances are distributed to eligible miners.
| Payout Mode | PPLNS |
| Minimum Payout | 2 PRL |
| Pool Fee | 0% launch fee until first confirmed pool block, then 0.5% forever |
| Pool Status | Public beta until first confirmed/mature pool block and payout audit |
Accepted Shares vs Blocks
Accepted shares prove that your miner is doing valid work for the pool difficulty. They are used for accounting. A confirmed block is different: it must satisfy the network target and be accepted by the network.
You can have many accepted shares before the pool finds its first block. This is normal, especially for smaller pools.
Why Small Pools Can Take Longer
Mining is probability. A smaller pool has less hashrate than a large pool, so it can take longer to find a block. However, when a smaller pool finds a block, the reward is distributed among fewer miners. Over a long enough period, results depend on pool luck, hashrate, network difficulty and payout rules.
Minimum Payout
PearlPool.cloud uses a minimum payout of 2 PRL. This helps avoid very small transactions and keeps payout processing practical. If your unpaid balance is below the minimum, it remains pending until it becomes eligible.
Block Maturity
A found block usually needs confirmations before it is safe to pay out. This protects miners and the pool from paying rewards before the network considers the block mature. PearlPool.cloud tracks confirmed and mature pool blocks separately from candidate submissions.
Transparency
PearlPool.cloud provides public stats and API endpoints so miners can see pool hashrate, workers, shares, candidate submissions, blocks and payout readiness. The goal is to avoid fake statistics and make the pool state easy to verify.
